Notch dimensions describe the blade profile, rather than the finished adhesive-bed thickness. Check your selected package for the blades supplied.

The blade design allows different compatible profiles to be used with the handle. The illustrated stainless steel blades measure 0.028 in (0.7 mm) thick and feature a polished working surface for spreading and combing suitable adhesive.
