Adjustable Contour Scribing Tool
✏️ Adjustable Contour Scribing Tool — Trace the Edge Before You Cut
Mark flooring and boards to follow the surfaces around them. This adjustable scribing tool holds a compatible pencil or marker while a tracing end follows the reference edge, transferring its shape onto your workpiece.
🏠 Bring Existing Contours onto Your Board
Use it to mark around door frames, uneven walls, and other adjoining edges during fitting work. The traced line provides a reference for trimming, helping you plan the shape before making a cut.

↔️ Adjust the Pencil Position for Your Layout
Slide the pencil holder along the frame to set the distance between your marking point and the tracing end. The holder accommodates suitable pencils or markers up to approximately 0.43 inches (11 mm) in diameter.

⚙️ Follow Edges with the Bearing Wheel
The steel bearing wheel rolls along the reference surface as you guide the tool. It provides a rolling contact point for following contours while the pencil marks the corresponding line on your board.

📐 Use the Pointed End for Local Details
The opposite end features a pointed tracing tip for following smaller contour details where its shape is more suitable. Choose the tracing end that follows your reference edge, and keep the tool’s orientation consistent as you mark.

Before Cutting: Secure the pencil, check the tracing offset, and confirm the marked line against your intended fit. Cutting tools are required separately.
